Job Description
This role is categorized as hybrid . This means the successful candidate is expected to report to [ Cole Engineering Center , Warren MI] three times per week, at minimum [or other frequency dictated by the business
Responsible for removing obstacles within the supply chain that may preclude GM’s ability to provide parts to our dealership and customer network. Ensure appropriate engagement is in place and countermeasures being developed to protect supply chain with all vital parties. This includes GM facilities, suppliers, tactical operations, purchasing, logistics and other organizations within CCA. Monitor progress and provide leadership awareness of high risk items.
Key Job Elements:
Lead recovery process for assigned Command Center cases with appropriate GM functional staffs.
Work with other coordinators managing critical supply issues that come into the CCA Command Center
Must have some flexibility and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution.
Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership
Develop and lead complex flow plans for supplier performance tracking and part allocation
Will be using mainframe, PowerBI, and various other tools to analyze supply chain status and develop countermeasures when necessary
Complete adhoc projects as the need arises including holiday supplier work plans, premium reduction initiatives and late/increased production changes
Must be able to manage very complex & stressful supply issues to resolution with goal to eliminate/minimize delay customer vehicle repairs and lost sales disruptions

Additional Job Description
Education/Experience
Bachelor's Degree preferred
Minimum 3+ years of Supply Chain or Purchasing
High level of analytical ability where problems can be somewhat complex
High level of oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
Ability to balance multiple assignments
Computer skills and knowledge with understanding of GM On-line software (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc)
Proficient in IMS
Production Control & Logistics Experience
Material system knowledge
Purchasing system knowledge
Skilled in managing projects
Planning and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and self-directed
Plant Experience
