What is the job about?
Grundfos CBS is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join its regional team. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the planning and management of our DC planning, inventory and on time delivery to customers. Further, this position is responsible for developing and implementing best practises and planning methods as well as driving and facilitating the regional SIOP process together with the regional management team. The Supply Chain Manager will collaborate with plant Supply Chain, CSSC, sales and global Supply Chain functions to achieve the targets set for the region. This position reports directly to the Global Senior Supply Chain Director and will operate daily out of the Brookshire, TX facility.
Your main responsibilities:
- Develop tactical direction including objectives, targets, development roadmap and
- critical capabilities to support overall Business strategies and Supply Chain strategy
- Select, lead, guide, evaluate, train and develop employees to ensure CBS EMEA DC achieves business objectives.
- Ensure employees are motivated to add value to customers and Grundfos
- Secure right mix of professional and leadership talent to achieve short and long term business objectives
- Develop, deploy, manage and improve key processes to achieve short and long term business objectives (hereunder SIOP/SIOE).
- Drive end to end collaboration with Sales, CSSC, Regional Operations, Production Supply Chain and Logistics Management to ensure effective and efficient Supply Chain service of customers at the lowest cost possible
- Utilize regional knowledge to influence and drive global development within global CBS Supply Chain performance
Your background
We imagine that you have:
- Bachelor Degree and managerial experience within Logistics, Customer Service or Supply Chain
- Minimum 5 years working experience in Supply Chain Management in Multinational Companies
- Business understanding and a global mind-set
- Excellent in English
- Knows how to apply Supply Chain and logistics concepts for E2E Supply Chains
- SIOP / S&OP knowledge
