Position: Catering Coordinator

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday.
Weekdays from approx. 8 or 9am until 1 or 2pm. Saturday from approx. 10am to 6pm.
Compensation: $25 Hourly Pay + Tips (with the potential to become a Salaried, Full Time Position)

Qualifications:
Must have qualifications include being very punctual, highly reliable, detail oriented, independently organized and able to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a calm, friendly and professional demeanor. The capability to work with little supervision is also highly desired in this position as you will be trained on how to make and execute select managerial decisions
Responsibilities:
The Catering Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all “in house” aspects of executing orders/events on the day of the order/event and in some cases pertaining to preparation of orders/events in advance of their date.
This job requires a start time that matches (or is slightly earlier than) the first catering order of each day (typically between 8 and 10am). Basic daily tasks associated with this position include but are not limited to:
· Reviewing the day’s orders
· Ringing in each order into our POS system (TOAST), handling invoicing, following up on past due invoices, tipping out delivery drivers
· Inventory, Ordering and Organizing of all ToGo materials needed for each order (food signs, plates, napkins, silverware, disposable or rented serving ware, ect).
· Inventory, Ordering, Prepping and Organizing of all catering beverage needs (Mojitos, Sangria, bottled non alcoholic beverages)
· Working closely with Chef’s to ensure correct timing of food orders
· Carefully checking off every component of each order to ensure order accuracy
· Maintaining food quality before an order leaves our door
· Responsible for ensuring all drivers have all components of their order and leave HQ on time
· Be the point person for drivers who get lost or have issues while carrying out a delivery
· Review next day orders with chef and check for inconsistencies
· Maintain inventory of all Havana Catering owned rentals. Ensure rentals and kept well stocked, organized and clean (work with our janitor to ensure).
· Event packing for off site events (picking and pulling items from garage several days prior to an event)
· Organizing delivery and pick up of rentals through 3rd party companies
· Inventory management of all office supplies
· Respond to inquiring customers (phone and email catering inquiries) when Sales Managers are occupied
· Follow up contact with customers who have yet to formally book
· Send thank you emails and feedback inquiries

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
