ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage end-to-end procurement process for 3 to 5 categories, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management
Categories for this role include Professional Services(HR, & finance) and Contingent Labor (MSP). The approximate annual spend for these categories is $100 million and $200 million.
Analyze data to develop category strategies, execute strategic sourcing events and deliver recommendations for senior leadership
Develop and implement procurement strategies for designated categories, driving cost savings and optimizing supplier performance.
Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders (typically at the VP level or above) to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and our strategic/critical suppliers. Lead effective business reviews with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement opportunities through leveraging our relationship with our most valued suppliers. Negotiate and track service levels/key performance indicators with our partners.
Lead and navigate contract negotiations for medium to high spend categories, securing advantageous terms, driving cost savings and mitigating the company’s risk
Construct and manage the RFx processes through our P2P platform
Own contracts through the complete lifecycle within the P2P technology
Drive user adoption by effectively utilizing guided buying and catalog functionality within the P2P system
Stay updated on industry trends and market dynamics to augment category strategies: identify new suppliers, take advantage of market opportunities and drive innovation.
Evaluate category spend on a regular basis to help prioritize sourcing initiatives and savings opportunities
Deliver presentations and data reporting for internal stakeholder communications / updates
Educate business partners on company’s procurement policies and best practices.
Maintain and continuously improve Indirect Procurement’s analytics capabilities, especially as it relates to reporting savings, cost avoidance and other key performance metrics for the team.

Internal: Collaborate closely across a wide array of individuals and cross-functional teams across corporate and field.
External: Develop or maintain and manage relationships with key suppliers; including account management and senior leadership.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Remote: This role is fully remote, and the associate is expected to perform assigned responsibilities from a home-based environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 6 years of category management and strategic sourcing experience.
Expertise across the full lifecycle of strategic sourcing and category management activities, including category strategies, sourcing execution, contract negotiations and supplier management
Capable of driving major commercial decisions across a diverse set of leadership stakeholders with some guidance from the Indirect Procurement leadership team
Comfortable driving user adoption and adherence to new technology, processes and policies
Strong negotiation skills; expert understanding of terms, conditions, and contracting techniques for managing risk
Able to work up, down, and across a large organization; connects at all levels, i.e., operations, management, executives
Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal and presentation skills; comfortable and credible with both internal stakeholders and external audiences
A flexible, dynamic, self-demanding and proactive individual; able to motivate him/herself and others; easily accepts constructive input from others
Strong project management experience, including stakeholder, timeline, and meeting management skills
Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PPT, Outlook, Teams). Data visualization experience a plus.
Bias for action and track record of driving tangible impact in Indirect spend
Travel as required – expected to be less than 10% of time.
EDUCATION
Four-year college degree in business or related field required. MBA a plus.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience working with a leading P2P technology platform is a significant plus.
CPSM certification a plus.
The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. In Colorado, the expected compensation for this role is between $96,500 - $128,700 annually. In New York, the expected compensation for this role is between $91,100 - $128,700 annually. In California, the expected compensation for this role is between $96,500 - $128,700 annually. In Washington, the expected compensation for this role is between $102,100 - $128,700 annually.
