Procurement Manager/buyer
Responsibilities
- Manage the local and global procurement projects delivery in USA, and ensure its service, delivery, quality and cost to meet the requirements.
- Develop local suppliers in the USA and North America Area, maintain relationships with current suppliers and establish vendor resource pool.
- Make market research in the USA and North America Area to know supplier resources and its service, product, price, etc.
- Have deep understanding of procurement category and output the category sourcing strategies.
- Ensure all purchasing operations complies with the company's internal control regulations.
- Continuously improve the procurement process, system and methodology to improve efficiency and cost control.
- Close contact with internal stakeholders in the company, including business, technology, finance and legal departments, to maintain good communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, bilingual in Mandarin preferred since this role will corporate with team in China
- Be familiar with the procurement process and system, and be able to use the procurement systems.
- Have professional procurement experience of indirect categories, such as logistics, marketing, HR outsourcing, professional service, etc.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills and be able to handle business, contracts, and legal affairs.
- Able to integrate resources in North America Area to support for local business development.
- Strong team management ability with well organizational coordination skills, and drive teams implement category strategy.
- Willing to travel
- 3-5 years of procurement experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
