ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Supervises, schedules, evaluates, and trains Cage Cashiers, slot cashiers, and pit clerks.
- Responsible for inventory of the Casino Cage (chip, check, main or front window banks) and Slot Cashiering areas (booths, cashier banks, automated redemption machines, and ticket redemption machines).
- Responsible for Pit Clerk accountability of paperwork and inventory of unused documents.
- Maintains compliance with the CCC Act of New Jersey.
- Maintains compliance with the IRS CTR Laws.
- Maintains compliance with departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Participates in the daily reconciliation of the casino finance areas.
- Performs other related duties as delegated by departmental management (i.e. filing, shredding, obtaining supplied, organizing, etc.).
- Requires casino access into the Casino Cage, slot cashiering and pit clerk areas.
- Other projects or assignments as dispatched.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
Some College preferred. High school diploma, previous accounting or money-handling experience, and computer terminal experience are preferred. Flexibility of shift and hours is necessary. Exceptional guest service skills, courtesy, professionalism and good communication skills are required. Must be proficient in Casino Cage banks. Must be willing to learn additional areas. Must demonstrate a positive, team player attitude. Must possess valid Key License or be eligible to obtain credential from the NJ DGE.
