ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service
- Performs the specific duties of the following bank/location as assigned per daily schedule: Cashiering duties in the main bank, chip bank and front window (general cashier); Cashiering duties in the slot cashiering.
- When needed, performs duties assigned in manual mode, as well as computer mode.
- As necessary, trains departmental personnel in the functions of the following areas:
- Main bank, chip bank, check bank and front window; Slot cashiering.
- Participates in the daily reconciliation of the area assigned.
- Maintains compliance with the incompatibility rule ensuring the integrity of the casino finance operation and maintains compliance with the approved Secondary Program as stated in the Internal Controls.
- Complies with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJ DGE) regulations, the IRS Currency Transaction reporting laws and departmental and company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties delegated by departmental management (i.e. shredding, obtaining supplies, organizing, etc.).
- Requires casino access into the Casino Cage and slot cashiering areas.
- Responsible for the job functions described in the NJAC Admin Code and Golden Nugget Atlantic City Controls pertaining to general cashiers, slot cashiers and chip persons. Performs the duties associated with the preparation and verification of a casino file as described in N.J.A.C. 19:45-1.27.
- Other projects or assignments as dispatched.
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous accounting or money-handling experience and computer terminal experience are preferred. Flexibility of shift and hours is necessary. Exceptional guest service skills, courtesy, professionalism and good communication skills are required. Must be willing to learn additional areas and demonstrate a positive, team player attitude. Must possess Valid Casino Employee Registration or be eligible to obtain credential from the NJ DGE.
