Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Ring up, bag, and process customer purchases efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout/expo/front of house area
- Answer customer inquiries by being knowledgeable of the menu and resolve any issues or complaints
- Upsell and promote additional products to customers
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Use POS (Point of Sale) system, such as Aloha POS, to process transactions
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a cashier or server position preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate cash handling and change calculations
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient checkout process
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety procedures is a plus
