Cashier/Delivery Driver

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Cashier/Delivery Driver to join our team!

We are looking for someone who is passionate about service and loves to share that passion by going above and beyond for customers. You are looking to join a hard-working and efficient team that cares about great food, drinks, and customer experience. Open availability is preferred, not required.

Compensation: $8 hourly plus tips, averaging $16-27 hourly. Tips are paid on checks, bi-weekly.

MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE, VEHICLE, AND VEHICLE INSURANCE.

Cashier/Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Welcoming customers, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations.
• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order.
• Perform all opening/closing duties and side work.
• Running food and bussing tables when necessary.
• Follow all steps of service.
• Process sales transactions, accept payments.
• Calculate and return change when required by the payment method.
• Deliver orders in a timely manner within a 3-mile radius.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Any other duties deemed necessary to the position.

Cashier/Delivery Driver Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous or similar experience as a Cashier/Delivery Driver.
• A valid driver’s license, insurance and a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation: deliveries will be made in your personal vehicle.
• Knowledge of food sanitation and safety policies.
• Familiarity with using navigation systems.
• Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
• Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
• Strong knowledge of beer and wine.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time, as well as the physical ability to load and unload heavy cargo.
• Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs.
• Must have a courteous, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• High level of energy with strong customer service skills.
• Attention to detail, cleanliness.
• Helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints.
• Relevant training certifications (TABC and Food Handlers).
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $27.00 per hour
