Cafe Quattro has been known as a simple spot for artisanal pizzas, housemade pastas, paninis, salads & espresso drinks since 2005. Located in the heart of South Boston, we are always bustling with business. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a cashier for the Evening Shift (1-9 PM). In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service
- Quickly and efficiently take and process orders in person and by phone as well as via third-party apps
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers and point-of-sale systems (like Square)
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
Skills:
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
- Attention to detail and basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong phone etiquette
- Excellent organizational skills (be on time for shifts) and high energy level to be able to work in a high-volume environment
- Knowledge of electronics sales or wireless products is desirable
