Cashier/Counter Server

Jaime's Roast Beef is Growing and we want you to grow with us! We are excited to be opening our third store in Beverly in early April.

We are hiring full-time and part-time Cashiers to join our team! As a cashier at Jaime's Roast Beef, you’ll be an important part of our team, working to ensure our customers are ultimately happy!

We are searching for someone with previous café or counter service experience, but most importantly, we’re looking for someone with enthusiasm, grace and the ability to create a warm and welcoming vibe for our guests while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

This location is incredibly busy and that translates to great tips and more money in your pocket! This position pays $15/hr, with tips you will make approximately $25/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers when they arrive and offer your assistance with their orders
• Ring up food orders and communicate those orders to the kitchen staff, making sure to note any special requests so all items are made correctly
• Offer suggestions for order substitutions for customers with allergies or other dietary restrictions

Requirements

• Must be 16 or older
• One year of café or counter service experience preferred
• General customer service experience and various restaurant experience is a plus
• Decent food and beverage knowledge
• Strong hospitality skills and the ability to foster genuine connections
• A commitment to food safety and sanitation procedures
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent teamwork
• The ability to balance the demands of a busy service with grace and professionalism
• A focus on hospitality in the team AND hospitality towards our guests

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
