Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Cashier is to provide outstanding customer service, and to process sales, returns, and orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
Duties:
Greet customers upon entering the store as well as when they approach the registers
Ensure each customer receives outstanding customer service which follows S.A.L.E.S. process and by mystery shop standards
Accurately and efficiently ring sales, returns, deliveries, special orders, gift card sales and gift card redemptions to include issuing receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customer
Solicit customers to open an Ace Rewards card
Maintain confidentiality of customer's personal and credit card information
Maintain orderly appearance of register area and keep supplies stocked
Maintain awareness of all store promotions and advertisements
When time allows, work on miscellaneous tasks assigned for register down-time
Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time by store management
Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

Ability to work with retail computer systems, electronic cash registers

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 40 pounds frequently to stock and to load and unload customer purchases and store stock
Ability to stand for an extended period of time
Must be able to talk and hear
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures throughout the store, when entails lifting and perform all functions as set forth
Job responsibilities may change based on the needs of the business.
