Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The Cash Posting Revenue Cycle Specialist will be responsible for a portion, if not all, of the functions below. In addition, the Cash Posting Revenue Cycle Specialist is expected to complete and/or assist other team members with the tasks below:
- Pull daily banking for multiple D4C accounts (varies by states)
- Reconcile direct deposits with electronic remittance programs
- Enter daily deposits into the reconciliation logs
- Upload EOBs into Lockbox
- Retrieve EOBs from payer sites for clients that have EFT deposit with no electronic remit and add them to the EOB file folders and balance to EFT reconciliation logs
- Pull online patient payments from multiple vendors
- Download 835 files from Dental Exchange clearinghouse for import into PMS
- Retrieve and process patient and insurance payer credit card payments
- As needed, post personal checks and credit card payments from patients
- Maintain Cash Posting team web logins spreadsheet
- Communicate with Revenue Cycle Analyst to batch and create daily cash receipts claim files for lockbox import
- As needed, retrieve and process live mail receipts for deposit and distribution to correct departments
- Identify patterns and trends that indicate a potential issue and report them to Cash Posting Leadership
- Comply to strict deadlines to ensure that Cash Payment Posters can complete daily, weekly and monthly posting deadlines
- Maintain appropriate documents, reports and files in order to comply with all applicable laws and policies
- Maintain professional and consistent communication with the team and internal customers to ensure that all needed items are received in a timely manner
- Answer and resolve internal calls, emails and SharePoint inquires that cannot be resolved by Cash Posting Team, AR or field staff
- Participate in team meetings to share status, trends or other appropriate feedback as it relates to Revenue Cycle
- Adhere to all compliance guidelines and regulations as established by D4C Dental Brands, Inc.
