Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test.
Must carry a valid driver's license, current auto insurance and have a good driving record.
Minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited university in psychology, social work, health education or a related human services field and one year experience working with youth and families.
Be at least 21 years of age
Have the ability to work flexible hours and effectively manage multiple assignments.
Must be able and willing to comply with all state, federal and local regulations.
Advocate meeting all the physical, emotional, educational, social, spiritual and cultural needs of the children by gathering information from all multidisciplinary team members.
Function as a liaison for the children and families with DFPS and other community agencies to develop a referral and resource network.
Provide crisis intervention services, as needed to the children and families on a 24-hour basis, alternating weekly coverage with other Case Managers.
Serve as a role model in carrying out the mission, following the principles and reflecting the values of The Sanctuary Foster Care Services.
Job Description:
Develop individual treatment plans, goals and outcome measurements within thirty days of client's admission and then complete service plan review every 90 days there after.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files.
Conduct monthly visits with each child and family on assigned caseload in order to assess needs.
Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced environment with others and independently.
Attend in-service workshops and training programs and participate in agency activities and development initiatives as assigned.
Must become familiar with, understand and uphold all confidentiality and abuse reporting requirements as dictated by law.
Have excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication and overall management/administrative skills.
Demonstrate ability to analyze and think critically.
Must be flexible, have good judgment and be skilled in time management.
Must comply with all agency standards.
Must represent The Sanctuary Foster Care Services, clients and family memebers with the highest degree of integrity, professionalism and honesty at all times.
Must be willing to carry out the mission and vision of The Sanctuary Foster Care Services, support the growth of the agency and carry out the established goals effectively.
Complete all other duties and tasks as assigned.
