The Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning Technician is responsible for detailed specialty cleaning of carpets, rugs, and upholstery often after a water or fire event in a residential home or business. Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed cleaning of carpets, rugs, and upholstery in homes and businesses or at our facility.
- Proper care and handling of items both before and after cleaning.
- Assist in loading the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance.
- Assist to prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
- Adhere to company and OSHA safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
- Communicate with Supervisors and other teammates to maintain efficient work processes
- Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance
- Bi-Lingual would be a BIG plus!
- Current or previous carpet or Upholstery Cleaning experience.
- Understanding of various textile materials, cleaning processes, and products to maximize cleaning results.
- Effective understanding of basic English oral and written communication
- Basic math and computer skills
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., under cabinets, attics)
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
- Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals
- Ability to work in cold or hot conditions
- Ability to travel locally
- Working as a team

Hours: Full time Monday - Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm (occasional after hours depending on project requirements)
