**Job Title: Caregiver** **Duties:** - Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. - Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document medication administration. - Monitor and record vital signs of residents. - Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. - Support residents with dementia care, providing companionship and engaging in meaningful activities. - Promote resident rights and maintain confidentiality of resident information. - Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents. - Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and the healthcare team. **Qualifications:** - Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred. - Knowledge of first aid procedures and basic medical terminology. - Familiarity with senior care principles and practices. - Ability to provide compassionate care to individuals with varying needs. - Understanding of resident rights and commitment to upholding their dignity and independence. - Proficiency in medication administration techniques. - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work well in a team environment. **Additional Skills:** - Experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is a plus. - Knowledge of dementia care techniques and strategies. - Ability to perform basic medical tasks such as taking vital signs.
