Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with medication reminders
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Help with meal planning, preparation, and feeding if necessary.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in the patient's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
- Ability to accurately document patient information in medical records.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with current car insurance.
