We are looking for caregivers in several locations throughout Kankakee, Iroquois, and Southern Will Counties! (You are not subjected or mandated to travel outside of your comfort levels).
We offer Flexible Schedules that fit your availability. You can make your own schedules! Here at Home Helpers we do not mandate you to work certain shifts, and you always have the option of picking up extra if you would like! We work well with those who have other jobs, are going to school, or who may have a busy home life!
As a caregiver at Home Helpers, you will build relationships, and improve the quality of life of those you are caring for. Your goal will be to help individuals enjoy life by helping them perform their daily functions; meal prep (to maintain or improve nutrition), transportation (to errands or appointments), housekeeping (to maintain cleanliness in the home), medication reminding (to ensure the medications are taken consistently and properly), and personal care (to maintain good hygiene, and to prevent breakdown). Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will bring joy to the lives of the clients you work with and help them feel encouraged, involved, and loved.
Requirements are:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be a US citizen or legally eligible to hold employment in the US
- Must have a High School diploma
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have valid car insurance
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
