Physical Requirements:The physical requirements of this position will include occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to 50lbs; standing or walking with objects up to 10lbs; regularly working at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing); and intermittent (10%) job-related travel.
Shift:Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; may include some evenings, nights and weekends per departmental needs.
Job Summary:Provide individual career counseling for UK staff employees for professional and Career Development. Develop curriculum and course content for online/in-person instructor-led Career Development courses for UK employees; teach and assess clients. Create specialized Career Development workshops for departments as requested; teach and facilitate.
Evaluates Program Effectiveness, Assessment & Evaluation, Plan and Ensure Career Development Program’s strategic alignment with HR & UK strategic plans.

Preferred Education/Experience:Prefer candidates with Masters level studies in Counseling, Human Resources, Higher Education backgrounds.
Career-related credentials preferred such as Certified Career Counselor (CCC), Certified Career Services Provider (CCSP) or other National Career Development Association career-related credentials. ICF coaching certifications or other relevant coaching certifications may be appropriate. Prefer candidates with career-related assessment certifications such as MBTI and Strong Interest Inventory certifications.
