Description: This position provides custodial and personal care services to clients that contract with Assisting Hands for services under the direction of the Staffing Coordinator in compliance with the Plan of Care.
Education: High School Diploma/GED required. Home Health Aid Certification from an accredited school required.

- CPR Certified
- Home Health Aid Certification from an accredited school
- HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer's, and Assisting With Self-Administration of Medication Training Certificates
- Recent TB Screening
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a caregiver
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and positioning clients
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties, as needed
- Escort clients to appointments and errands, as needed
- Document care provided and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the nurse supervisor
