We are currently hiring for a Care Coordinator I – Youth Court position at our Warsaw, NY location.
Full time position (35 hours) Monday to Sunday with a flexible schedule.
The Care Coordinator I is assigned to work from home office, except when attending to the following job tasks /activities.
- Coordinate all activities of the Youth Court, including: recruiting, training and supervising youth volunteers.
- Schedule court hearings, provide oversight to court proceedings and youth sanctions.
- Maintain and service a caseload of youth referred to the Youth Court and the Community Service programs.
- Interview and work with juvenile offenders and their families who are referred to the Youth Court program.
- Collaborate with the community service team regarding treatment planning, work assignments.
- Enroll youth in work placements and education workshops to ensure successful completion.
- Maintain detailed records, program data and program funding reports.
- Promote the Youth Court program by presenting to area schools and organizations.
- Collaborate with program team to ensure successful outcomes and program objectives.
The successful candidate will be an organized self-starter who is willing to work a flexible schedule based on needs of the youth (client) and supportive tasks required to help youth complete their community service requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, special education, human services or another human services related area of study
- 1+ years of experience working in a youth/family centered mental health/psycho-social treatment environment
- Must have thorough knowledge of the services provided, well developed advocacy skills, and an understanding of payment processes for services
- Must have a valid New York State Driver's License and meet agency driving and insurance standards
$17.50 Minimum Rate per hour, $25.49 Maximum Rate per hour, based on experience
