What does a Toolmaker do?

  • See through Tooling & Die creation from blueprint to finish by utilizing manually controlled machine tools (I.E, lathes, milling machines), power tools (I.E, rotary tools or die grinders), and hand tools (I.E, honing stones or files).
  • Assist Production team with Tooling concerns.
  • Contributes to team success by accomplishing results with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Responsible for all customer-specific requirement where applicable, including those referenced in Quality manuals.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years experience as a Toolmaker or Machinist with experience working with and repairing carbide
  • Experience reading engineering drawings and prints
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to lift 50bs independently, safely, and repetitively
