The National/Alamo brand of Enterprise Mobility has an exciting opportunity for a Car Sales Automotive Technician. The Automotive Technician performs car service, repair, preventive maintenance, in-fleeting service, and vehicle reconditioning service according to company policy and procedures. This position requires the exercise of reasonable judgment and initiative. Performs all responsibilities with a focus on the needs of our customers and in accordance with our Quality Standards. The pay for this position ranges from $34 / hour to $40 / hour based on certifications. Employees in this position earn between $34 - $49 / hour depending on length of service and certifications. This position is located at our Car Sales Service Center, 18801 Southcenter Pkwy Tukwila, WA 98188. Responsibilities We are hiring now for immediate openings. Responsibilities include:Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levelsPerform preventive maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) service according to the manufacturer’s specifications and guidelinesRepair and replace tiresReplacement of wearable parts (i.e. bulbs, wipers)Maintain vehicle repair history by documenting a Repair Order to accurately reflect steps taken and part(s) used during the repairComply with part and inventory tracking proceduresProvide safe and reliable vehicles upon completion of all servicesMay process new fleet, fuel reclamation or buy backsFollow proper procedures to comply with all health, safety and environmental standardsMaintain the work area in a safe, clean condition and comply with all uniform and equipment standardsPerform related duties as required.Equal Opportunity Employer/Disability/Veterans Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of ageTwo years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles requiredDegree in Automotive Technology, Completion of Automotive Technical College or Technical vocational training preferred4+ current and valid ASE certifications required OR OEM training/certfication + 1 current and valid ASEUnderstanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plusHire with manufacturer training with agreement of obtaining 4 ASE certifications within 6 months of hireMust have a current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 yearsA minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products requiredMust be able understand, read, write, and speak EnglishMust be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureMust be able to complete a pre-employment drug test including cannabis
