Job description

SUMMARY

The Capacity Planning team is responsible for maintaining footwear capacity globally, including all factory sourcing, shipment forecasts and production volumes.  The Capacity Planning Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

  • Support
    • Monthly and Quarterly capacity commits submitted to all global factories, split by replenishment and pre-book volume that will be placed on order in the current month at the style color level.
    • Review capacity requirements against committed and projected capacity and suggest adjustments and/or pre-builds to management
    • Partner with regional supply planning teams to execute approved pre-builds
    • Heavily utilize existing Excel and Access tools to enable all capacity related forecasting, and practice continuous improvement with those tools
  • Maintenance: 
    • Replenishment product lead time oversight sourced to assigned suppliers
    • Audit PIR records per any sourcing changes impacting assigned suppliers
    • Maintain construction type and sub-process classifications for all products sourced to assigned suppliers
    • Working days by month and factory
    • Factory production plans
    • Other planning master data requirements as needed
    • Daily capacity commit by month and factory
    • Purchasing and manufacturing times

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent years of experience
  • A minimum of 1-2 years in an analyst, reporting or supply chain role or related position required
  • Apparel & Footwear background a plus
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel and Access skills including programming skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain relationships with multiple internal as well as external partners
  • Experience in overseas manufacturing and/or consumer goods environment preferred
  • Proven track record in a fast paced, growing environment
