Job Description Summary
The Cannes Film Market Internship Assistant will help coordinate the internship program that the Center for Global Education runs in Cannes during the Spring semester. The internship occurs during the Cannes Film Festival (Festival de Cannes), although the internship itself takes place in the Film Market (Marche du Film). Interns will work for production, distribution, or marketing companies to learn about the business side of film while utilizing their French skills. The internship is open to students participating in the AIFS Abroad in Cannes semester abroad program. You may learn more about the program by clicking the hyperlink.
Responsibilities
The Cannes Film Market Internship Assistant, under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Global Education, will help review resumes/cover letters/contracts/other application materials, keep accurate and confidential records, correspond with students/employers/faculty/Chapman departments/other stakeholders via email, present during information sessions, and ultimately place students on their internships among other duties as assigned
