YMCA Camp Rocky Creek is located in Lebanon County, PA, just north of Lancaster. Camp Rocky Creek sits on 120 acres and is surrounded by State Game Lands. The opportunities are endless.
We are looking for applicants who will:
Be responsible for managing camp staff and overseeing the day-to-day camp operations. This includes:
- Oversight of day and resident camp
- Ensure we maintain ACA compliance
- In conjunction with the Executive Director, plan events that take place in fall, winter and spring
- Focus on growth in the camp community and creating programs that have a meaningful impact on our community by upholding our core values and the mission of the YMCA.
- Cultivate a diverse staff who want to be there to help our campers succeed and grow
- Create progressive programs that physically and emotionally challenge our campers to thrive in all aspects of their life
- Create a sense of belonging for both campers and staff, valuing input, perspectives and contributions from others

Skills and Qualifications
- Previous and proven camp experience in a coordinator or director level for at least 2 years
- Experience in recruiting and hiring staff
- Managing a team of 25+ staff members
- Strong communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills but the flexibility to adapt when needed
- Obtain/maintain certifications in lifeguarding, ropes course and archery
- Knowledge/proficiency in computer software, Microsoft Office, Google platforms for camp operations
- Strong interpersonal skills, innovative, proactive and a willingness to work flexible hours
- Be driven to succeed and create a fun, inclusive environment
