Form of workJenks Public Schools Job Description Position: Registered Nurse - Camp Discovery Reports To: Camp Discovery Principal and Director of Student Learning and Literacy Supervises: None Qualifications:Hold or be eligible for Oklahoma Standard School Nurse Teaching Certification.Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.Previous nursing experience preferred.Satisfy all district requirements regarding physical health and citizenship.Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Maintain, update, and verify emergency information on all students.Maintain daily log of clinic business and submit annual data, as required.Provide care of students in the clinic and dispense all medications needed during school hours, as prescribed by protocols.Keep abreast of new developments in the field.Maintain effective relations with parents in interpreting the goals, objectives and programs of the school and the Health Services Department.Interpret and carry out Board of Education and Central Office policies and procedures; represent concerns and needs affecting departmental operation to the Central Administrative staff.Document and report suspected child abuse, as required by law.Consult with school designated physician and/or Central Office supervisor, as needed.Perform other duties as assigned by supervisorTerms of Employment: Jenks Public Schools Temporary Assignment Contract - June 3 - June 27, 2024; Monday-Thursday, 8:30am -12:30pm. **Dates subject to change pending Board approval of last day of school.
Compensation: $1,800.00 Stipend
