Job Title: Registered Nurse - Spinal Intervention

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in our Ambulatory Surgery Center at NewSouth NeuroSpine. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the care of patients undergoing spinal procedures, covering the entire continuum from pre-operative preparation to post-anesthesia care. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the safety and well-being of patients, providing high-quality nursing care throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments and screenings for patients undergoing spinal intervention procedures.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and assist in maintaining a sterile environment during the procedure.
• Transition patients from the operating room to the PACU, providing continuous monitoring and support.
• Facilitate safe and efficient transfer of patients between pre-op, surgery, and PACU.
• Adhere to established protocols, policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Other nursing duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in Mississippi.
• BLS certification required and ACLS certification preferred.
• Previous experience in spinal intervention or orthopedic nursing highly desirable.
