POSITION SUMMARY
The Call Center Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a therapeutic environment in the lobby while clients wait for their appointments. Staff will also be responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments/assessments, collecting payment at the time of services rendered, and other assigned duties.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in customer service, preferably in a medical or psychiatric setting.
Additional Requirements: A thorough knowledge of HIPAA compliance and Connections Wellness Group, LLC policy and procedures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greeting guests with courtesy and care. Maintain a therapeutic environment in the lobby.
- Ensure initial forms are completed as appropriate for all new and current clients.
- Maintain a clean and tidy waiting area for Connections Wellness Group, LLC clients.
- Ensure all documentation about client communication, provider communication, etc. is completed promptly (within 24 hours of occurrence).
- Schedule appointments as requested for all new and current clients via approved CWG Answer phones promptly utilizing the skills/techniques approved by Connections Wellness Group, LLC (CWG) administration.

- Refer clients as appropriate to other departments within CWG (Assessment, Business Office, Nursing, Medications, etc.)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exhibit basic computer skills including, but not limited to:
- Microsoft Office
- Email Correspondence
- Electronic Medical Record System
- KIPU EMR & CRM, Simple Practice
- Exhibit good judgment in briefly assessing client needs and referring to appropriate providers/programs (i.e., referring for PHP/IOP screenings, referring to providers with certain specialties, etc.).
- Knowledge of facility policies and procedures.
6. Ability to react calmly and effectively in an emergency.
