Position Overview:
As a Call Center Representative I, you'll play a crucial role in performing clerical, reception, and administrative tasks at The Dalles clinic. Your responsibilities will include answering and screening patient phone calls, accurately scheduling patient appointments for medical, dental, and behavioral health services, pre-registering patients, maintaining patient confidentiality, managing in-coming/out-going mail, and ensuring accurate record-keeping in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Fluent bilingual in English and Spanish.
- High School graduate or G.E.D.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects while upholding a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook.
- Cash handling experience in a retail or office setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Post-high school education in office/clerical coursework.
- Experience working with low-income, multi-ethnic populations.
