The Call Center Representative is a vital position for our group. It is the first opportunity for us to make a good impression on our patients! The Call Center Representative is a full-time position that requires professional phone skills, the ability to manage a large volume of phone calls, and a high level of accuracy of all appointments made.
Responsibilities and Duties
Call Center employees are responsible for answering all incoming calls for a 18-physician, multi-location surgical practice as well as making office appointments for those callers. Employees must use good decision-making skills and perform minor triage in relaying messages to office staff and physicians.
Qualifications and Skills
Call Center candidates must be well-versed in insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and have strong computer skills. Strong customer service skills are a must and candidate must be able to communicate verbally over the phone, clearly and professionally.
Candidate must be professional in appearance with the ability to multi-task. Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred. The Call Center has a high call volume and is fast-paced. Experience with a multi-line phone system is a plus.
