PURPOSE: Ensures a high level of prompt, efficient and friendly member services and adherence to departmental policies and standards while working within the goals and core values of the credit union.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serve membership by providing service and information in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner via telephone or correspondence.
- Ensure that all credit union member- and employee-related business is kept in the strictest confidence.
- Develop a strong knowledge of the credit union in order to recommend additional products and services to members on a daily basis.
- Perform outbound sales calls to generate additional sales and revenue for the credit union.
- Perform follow up calls to new members to ensure proper onboarding and cross-selling efforts.
- Research and solve routine member questions, problems, and complaints concerning credit union products and services.
- Responsible for researching member inquiries to ensure proper and timely follow up and satisfaction.
- Treat all credit union members and employees with a positive and cooperative attitude
- Mail, fax, or e-mail new member applications, loan applications and/or information to members and prospective members.
- Complete annual Bank Secrecy Act training as designated by Security Officer.
- May respond to e-mail or other electronic request submitted by members, again providing professional, prompt, efficient and accurate service and information.
- All other duties as assigned.
