SalaryACHC is a Federally Qualified Health Center and licensed primary care clinic. We provide Family Medicine and Dental Care, with additional specialists in Behavioral Health, Chiropractic, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Podiatry and Optometry. ACHC Clinics are located across Fresno, Kings and Tulare counties.
SUMMARY
The initial point of contact into the health center. Handles all incoming calls and makes outbound calls to patients and the public in a kind and professional manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answers questions and offers non-medical guidance via the telephone or computer with individuals on a continual basis.
- Schedules appointments.
- Exchanges pertinent and non-routine information with patients and medical office.
- Maintains documentation of calls.
- Collaborates with the medical front office to assist in improving patient experience.
- Supports the delivery of quality patient care through providing timely and accurate information exchange.
- Provides resources as appropriate to assist patients.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school graduate or its equivalent.
- Preferred experience in medical front office procedures and processes.
- Preferred knowledge of medical terminology.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish required.
- Prior experience working with underserved populations preferred.
