Job Summary
Receives phone calls from policyholders and/or claimants regarding the company's insurance policies. Analyzes, resolves and channels service requests and orientations related to the following lines of business; Claims, Personal Lines, among others. Participates in special tasks and assignments as requested.
Responsibilities
- Answers telephone calls that are received from the clients of the different companies of the Corporate Group.
- Generate calls to customers to inform them about the status of pending situations.
- Channels requested cancellations or endorsements into the relevant Personal Lines and Service Contracts systems for any of the companies that make up the Corporate Group.
- Prepares payment letters to clients, agencies, producers and banks.
- Receive and answer customer calls to make payment electronically.
- Makes the financing contracts as required by the client/producer/agency.
- Receives and answers telephone calls to guide the insured and/or claimant on the claims process.
- It provides information, via telephone, on the status of claims through the various computerized systems and documents the procedures in the systems, as appropriate.
- Channels requests for Compulsory Insurance vouchers as requested by the client, producers or agencies.
- Verifies policies and/or contracts and records claims in the appropriate systems.
- It provides claims status to policyholders and claimants and refers claims to the Claims Department.
- It documents in the system all the procedures carried out on the policies.
- Consults and channels complex cases to ensure their prompt resolution.
- Refer special requests to the Back Office Department.
- Participates in special tasks and/or projects as requested
Requirements
- Fourth year of high school and one (1) year of experience in Customer Service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, service and audience management.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with others.
- Skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Fast keyboard and computer system skills.
- Extensive knowledge of the Company's business lines and products.
- Ability to analyze information, evaluate cases and make sound decisions
- Availability to work rotating schedules.
- The allocation of schedules will be between the shifts of 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The candidate must be available to work in both periods.
- Assigned shifts in the period from 1:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. work Monday through Sunday with two consecutive days off in the week. Shifts assigned in the period from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. They have Saturdays and Sundays off.
- You work on holidays unless you fall on the assigned day off on your schedule.
- The training is 100% face-to-face at the central offices in Metro Office.
- The area will determine how long the candidate will be in training and when they are ready to start working from home.
- It is required that the candidate has an internet connection service at home.
