Title - Calibration Metrology Technician
Location - Parsippany, NJ
Type of position - 6 month contract to direct
Pay range: 33-43.00 hour depending on relevant experience

Desired personal qualities:
- Candidates with experience in Military, Aerospace and commercial calibration labs align well with this position.
- Recent experience with of calibration of lab equipment.
- Recent experience in PMEL (precision metrology equipment lab) TMDE (test measurement and diagnostic equipment)
- Certifications CCT (calibration certified technician sponsored by ASQ org.), CCST (Certified Control System technician- sponsored by ISA org.)
- Kowlegable in the following areas -IMTE, MTE, Dimensional, General purpose, mechanical, Torque, pressure, temperature, power supplies, calipers, Micrometers, Scales, balances, ESD, Thermocouple, Thread gages, data loggers, ISO/IEC 17025. ANSI/NCSL Z540-1, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3, etc.
- Experience with - equipment type calibrations performed internally 1. Pressure and vacuum (gauges and transducers that range from vacuum to 25,000psig) 2. Dimensional (micrometers, calipers, height gages, indicators, etc) 3. Torque (drivers, wrenches, dial-type, limiting-type, electronic that range from 4in-oz to 250ft-lbs.)
- Mostly performing scheduled calibrations or coordinating external calibrations in the following industries -
Military , Aerospace, Commercial or Medical - Any of the following certifications would be helpful - ASQ recognized Calibration Technician Certification A Plus , IPC also has a certification , CCST: Certified Control System Technician
- Work hours - 4 X 10s mon-Thursday , 4X 9s and 4 hours Friday .Initially the candidate would do 4X9s and 4 hrs on Friday then they can move to 10 hour days if they want to. Day starts 6-7am to align with production schedule. No later than 7:30
