SalaryWe're looking for a Line Cook for King's Street Coffee that is enthusiastic, hard working, and organized, preferably with experience and an interest in coffee. $16-$20/hr based on experience and schedule can be flexible.
Responsibilities
* Prepares, cooks and assembles all food correctly by following standard recipes and special diet requests as required
* Understands and follows standard portion sizes, reading recipes, quality standards, and kitchen procedures
* Clearly communicate with rest of staff
* Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
* Assist with the cleaning, restocking, and organization of kitchen and equipment
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
Qualifications
* 1+ year(s) prep/Line Cook experience in a high-volume cafe environment
* NY Food Protection Certificate is preferred
* Ability to multitask and work quickly in high-pressure environments
* Responsible, reliable, and attention to detail
* A positive and self-motivated disposition with the desire to learn and grow professionally
* Customer-service oriented
