- Utilize cutting-edge CAE techniques to proactively identify and address potential thermal inefficiency and issues in vehicle design, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Lead the way in driving design optimization and providing guidance for under hood, body, and cabin component design, shaping the future of vehicle development at Ford Motor Company.
We are looking for a seasoned CAE engineer to guide and perform full vehicle thermal analysis to support BEV vehicle program development. Deep understanding on vehicle components and operations is a must. You will partner with Thermal program, ESE battery, PTI and climate control engineers to frame the right thermal environment and influence components design/package/routings from beginning to end of Ford product development process to achieve optimum vehicle energy management and usage. With your creative and analytical mind, you will use CAE to provide key insights to detect potential thermal inefficiency and issues. Frame new opportunity, design optimization and guide under hood/body/cabin component design for our vehicle in development. You will lead, guide and oversee vehicle program CAE work throughout the process. You will relentlessly advocate a teamwork at all stages of the vehicle development process. As a team player, you will create impact by collaborating across the CAE, programs and all other key work partners throughout the company.
