Serve as an integral team member assisting with the process-mechanical design of water and wastewater treatment facilities at both the local and national level. - Preparing process mechanical drawings of municipal treatment and conveyance facilities.
- Coordinating the designs from other, associated disciplines (e.g, structural, electrical, civil) to prepare a complete set of construction drawings.
- Conducting crosschecks of drawings to ensure consistency of designs. Cross checks would include, but not be limited to clash and conflict detection on drawing sets.
- Reviewing manufacturer equipment sheets to incorporate into design documents.
- Playing a key role in the mentorship of junior CADD design staff through structured mentoring, work assignments and technical reviews.
- Supporting production of design documents. Support includes plotting drawings, preparing transmittals, preparing overnight packages and file management.
- Collaborating with sales staff to create figures supporting proposals in response to client requests.
