Job Description
Responsible for : Assessing the counseling needs of the clients-Using the ASI or other standardized clinical interview tool-Knowledge of the DSM-5 and determining appropriate level of care according to the ASAM criteria. Able to obtain previous treatment records that are relevant to current treatment episode.
Creating, reviewing and revising treatment plans to determine the need for continued services.
Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings weekly- Providing active case consultation.
Documenting all counseling and education services, assessments, referrals and follow up in clinical charts
The right individuals for these positions should have or be working towards their CADC certification.
Must have previous experience working in the addictions field and be familiar with NJSAMS.
Must be able to hold yourself accountable for work habits. Must have qualities of conscientiousness and respect for oneself and others.
