Form of work Our Gas team is growing and as such we are looking to hire an entry level CAD Technician I-II!
You will be an integral resource on our Nicor Gas projects performing CADD duties, being exposed to project management functions, working with engineers and clients to resolve issues.

What you will do:
- Performing CAD work related to natural gas distribution design
- Final quality control reviews
- Work with engineers and clients to resolve issues
- Reading and understanding client standards and specifications, other project related documents and meeting their requirements
- Data and document entry into various platforms
- Scanning, copying and filing documents
- Assist management on special projects as directed
- Able to gather information independently using established and defined procedures
- Ability to handle multiple project deadlines at a time
- Field visits to gather on-site project information
What we are looking for:
- Experienced in AutoCad software
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel and relevant project management software
- Previous experience working on Nicor Gas preferred, but not required.
- This person would be able to quickly complete tasks independently and as a team member, with detailed or general instruction
Your background/experience:
- 1-4 years of CAD experience, preferably in Civil or Utility industries
- Associates or equivalent degree in CAD drafting technology field
