We are currently looking to fill a thermoset technician to set-up and process thermoset plastics. Moldtronics uses a large variety of different materials. This is a real custom molding shop where troubleshooting skills are pushed to the limit. Mold changes are preformed daily and "it's not my job" does not exist with us, we are a team and are expected to help and look out for each other. We run automatic, semi auto operator, non-insert and insert jobs. Molds are made and maintained in house. We are a rapidly growing company with a big future ahead of us. THERMOSET MOLDING PROCESS TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set up molds.
- Troubleshoot Molding Processes, cycles, and equipment.
- Handling and signing out materials.
- Issuing materials to the operators.
- Accurately complete necessary paperwork.
- Work closely with the team (operators, quality department, and management).
- Keep machines / equipment / area clean and organized.
- Maintain safe work area in neat and orderly manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
THERMOSET MOLDING PROCESS TECHNICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to regularly stand and sit throughout the shift with regular walking, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting of up to 50Lbs.
- Good active learning, time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision.
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
- Must be able to lift, carry, pull, push up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vison, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- A successful candidate must complete a background check.
- Required to be a U.S. Person - meaning U.S. Citizen or Green card holder.

- Core Hours of 3:30pm - 12:30am
COMPENSATION:
$18 per hour
