Moldtronics provides plastic injection molding and manufacturing solutions across various markets. Our injection molding process serves a broad spectrum of industries, delivering parts to clients in sectors including aerospace, defense, agriculture, commercial, and communications.
We are currently looking to fill the role of a Material Handler / Apprentice Set-up Technician to join our team. Moldtronics uses a large variety of different materials. This is a real custom molding shop where troubleshooting skills are pushed to the limit. Mold changes are preformed daily and "it's not my job" does not exist with us, we are a team and are expected to help and look out for each other. We run automatic, semi auto operator, non-insert and insert jobs. Molds are made and maintained in house. We are a rapidly growing company with a big future ahead of us. We will teach you how:

  • Run a molding machine as an operator.
  • Hang & set up molds.
  • Fill hoppers / dryers.
  • Separate runners.
  • Set-up injection molds and the auxiliary equipment required.
  • Process all types of resins including many engineering grade resins.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, molding processes and cycles.
  • Accurately complete all required paperwork.
  • Work closely with the team (operators, quality department, and management).
  • Keep molding machines / equipment / area clean and organized.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain safe work area in neat and orderly manner.

  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, pull, push up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • A successful candidate must complete a background check.
  • We are an ITAR facility and hire only U.S. persons who are defined as U.S. citizens or green card holders.
