Cad Operator

Our company is looking for a CAD Operator to develop technical drawings of products using computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD. Applicants should have a technical background in drafting and experience with CAD software.

CAD Operator Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop technical drawings using CAD software
• Make revisions and obtain approval from the client
• Maintain a database of drawings
• Prepare supporting documentation that includes product materials and dimensions
• Distribute drawings to internal departments and external contractors

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Technical degree in drafting or equivalent job experience
• Experience with 2D/3D CAD software
• Technical design skills
• Deadline-oriented mindset
• Attention to detail
• CNC, Laser, CAM, Nesting experience
