Your Role in a Nutshell:
As a Production Operator, you'll play a critical role in ensuring timely and safe manufacturing of our product lines, meeting our customers' needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Executing chemical batch preparation, understanding reaction processes, and utilizing various systems, including manual and PLC-controlled setups.
- Operating reactors, scrubbers, heat exchangers, pumps, and other equipment to support production. Working with control systems like DCS, Wonderware, Citech, and local PLCs.
- Loading and unloading products into various packaging formats. Safely operating forklifts and other machinery as needed.
- Monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting, and escalating issues as required.
- Collaborating with the lab to sample and assess product quality, making necessary adjustments.
- Maintaining accurate records and completing paperwork in a timely and precise manner.
- Communicating effectively with team members, leaders, and lab personnel regarding process status, changes, and objectives.
- Operating multiple machines and equipment in different production areas.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications You Bring to the Table:
- High School diploma or GED equivalency preferred.
- Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting, walking, standing, and climbing.
Salary: $21 - $26 per hour
