Position Summary:
Lincoln ElectricProducts Co Inc. is seeking an Entry-level CAD Drafterto join its dynamic team. This role is available immediately and provides a great growth opportunity for the right candidate. It is a full-time, exempt position where candidates report directly to the Engineering Manager.

Primary Job Function:CAD Drafterwill play a critical role in the engineering process by deploying engineered electrical switchboard designs to fabrication and assembly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create detailed shop fabrication drawings for engineered parts and assemblies using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other drafting tools.
- Generate Bills of Materials using CAD software and Microsoft Excel.
- Prepare sheet metal flat patterns and 3D models of engineered parts for fabrication and assembly teams.
- Execute hand-off of design projects from the engineering team to the fabrication team.
- Maintain standard design drawings, bills of materials, and 3D assemblies.
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure that all components meet the project's design requirements and fabrication limitations.
- Support engineering staff by 3D modeling off-the-shelf components.
Qualifications:
- Strong foundation in 2D and 3D modeling programs (Autodesk products such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Vault preferred).
- Must be a team player and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication preferred.
- Experience working with hand tools and measuring devices.
- Aptitude to succeed in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, ambitious, and a creative thinker
- US citizen or legally able to work in the US without sponsorship.
Education:
- Associate’s degree in mechanical engineering, certification in drafting, attendance of a technical school or equivalent related field.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
