Mechanical Drafter
Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the engineering team to conceptualize, design, and develop conveyor and material handling solutions.
* Utilize CAD software to create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of components and assemblies.
* Conduct thorough engineering analyses to ensure the structural integrity, functionality, and safety of designs.
* Work closely with clients to understand their specific material handling needs.
* Develop customized solutions by modifying existing designs or creating new ones to meet client requirements.
* Generate comprehensive technical documentation, including assembly drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and operation manuals.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of design changes and revisions.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless project execution.
* Effectively communicate design concepts and technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Conduct quality checks on designs to ensure they meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in prototype testing and validation processes to verify design performance.
* Proactively identify opportunities for design optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
* Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Inventor, SolidWorks).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Experience in the design of conveyor systems or material handling equipment is preferred.
