Job Description
* Collaborate with entry level designers and engineers to prepare and issue all materials regarding the project structure/architecture
* Issue erection drawings and details to the general contractor or owner for approvals
* Advise engineering manager of problems/progress
* Converse via telephone, email, or in person with General Contractor, project architects and project engineers
* Detail cover sheet, foundation plans, foundation plants, elevation drawings, and details as required
* Help prepare small to medium size precast projects & turn drafted drawings into fine-tuned Tindall drawingsREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE* Bachelor's degree in relevant field (engineering/technology/etc.) with 2+ years of experience OR Associates degree in relevant field with 3+ years of experience
* Experience creating drafting's/drawings in AutoCAD, Solidworks, or Revit (Structure works is a subset of Solid works that they use regularly -- would be a huge plus to have this!)
* **Need to know how to create assembly drawings, do section cuts, how to sketch the 3rd view, and simple shortcuts in AutoCAD
* **Need to be proficient in Solidworks (knowledge needs to be up to date)
* Knowledge of fundamental math, specifically geometry (They will have to take a simple math exam** )
* EX: Need to know specific angles for different triangles; if they don't, they are not a fit
* Good communication skills (both verbal and written)NICE TO HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE* Experience in the construction industry
* Precast concrete experience
