SalaryMensch Manufacturing is seeking a CAD Designer. The position is in person at our facility in Hastings MI. This role will interact heavily with management, fabrication floor and other designers at Mensch Manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Design and detail machines and/or machine parts
Create/Update solid models of mechanical components and custom parts
Assist in the preparation of machine operator manuals
Maintain system and engineering database
Provide technical training as required
Ensure continuity of design and BOM structure for the department
Create assembly and detail drawings
Develop specifications and methods
Confirm machine and system capabilities:
Ability to create dimensioned detail drawings
Design in Solidworks
Keep engaged in business activities throughout the working day
Desired Attributes
Experience with off road equipment
Experience trouble shooting Hydraulics Circuits
5-7+ years of experience designing machinery (preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.78 - $40.00 per hour
