Cable Installer/Technician

NTS INC is currently hiring residential/commercial cable installation and service technicians to join our team to provide our customers with essential lines of communication, such as: TV, Internet and Phone services (Spectrum) in Lexington, KY and surrounding areas. Coax and Fiber experience is a plus.

We are looking for both experienced and inexperienced techs with the ability to learn and the willingness to work hard towards a common goal, in a team environment. ***This is a fulltime 1099 position that requires you to have your own tools and work vehicle, we also have the option, if necessary, to provide a leased vehicle and other essential equipment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current valid driver’s license.
• Able to pass a drug screen/background check.
• Work well under pressure, and work both independently and as part of a team while being detail oriented.
• Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve issues as they arise.
• Excellent customer service skills!
• Demonstrate a professional appearance.

Physical requirements

• Move over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment
• Work in all weather conditions including inclement weather and in extreme heat/ cold environments.
• Ability to bend, reach, twist, climb, squat and kneel without restrictions.
• Comfortable with traveling, sitting or standing for extended periods of time.
