What is the specific title of the position? Principal PowerBuilder/PowerScript Software Developer
LOCATION: Remote
Work hours (ex. 9am-5pm day/night shifts rotating shifts etc)? 8-5 central, generally
Please provide a summary of the project/initiative that this candidate will be working on? The Principal PowerScript Software Engineer within our Client Financial business will deliver software engineering that improves the productivity of our Stop Loss business users.
Please describe the team the candidate will be working with - how many members, and break-down of the team's skill sets? Total of three PowerScript software engineers, scrum master, and business operations managers.
What are the top 5-10 responsibilities for this position (please be detailed as to what the candidate is expected to do or complete on a daily basis)?
1. Take business requirements and partner with business to plan a solution for, develop powerscript code, test, and implement with three other developers, changes from non-production into production in a scalable, and stable manner.
2. Strong written and verbal communication required to collaborate effectively with other team members, scrum master, and business operations managers.
What does the ideal candidate background look like (ex: healthcare specific background specific industry experience etc.)? Years of PowerScript programming language experience, stop loss business functional knowledge or Hyland OnBase tool configuration would also be a bonus.
What skills/attributes are required (please be detailed as to number of years of experience for each skill)?
PowerScript development in PowerBuilder (top preferred, 5+ years)
Hyland OnBase experience (nice to have, any experience with configuration in this tool)
What skills/attributes are preferred (what will set a candidate apart)? Candidates with the greatest amount of development with PowerScript experience.
What will the interview process look like? (Video phone or in person? How many rounds? How technical will the interviews be?) video, 1, Candidate will be required to describe explain in technical terms how they have built monitoring scripts in the past
